Why I’m Marrying MB: Part I
There are a lot of reasons that I’m marrying MB and after expounding on all the reasons I need my BMs on the big day, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about MB and our relationship and how and why he is the man for me.
Making the Best Cupcakes in Lieu of Cookies
Ok so right back to it. I decided against making the sugar cookies because I was seriously running out of time yesterday. AND I had just scored a sweet recipe from Elizabeth Ann Designs Living (EADL) contributor, Amy I. {By the by, EADL is like my new favorite blog. Please enjoy.
That sweet new recipe? Why Ice Cream Cupcakes of course!

Other Floral Touches
Making floral arrangements the day of my wedding really hit a nerve with a lot of people {as did the great garter debate, but we’ll get back to that}. I’m here to defend my decision and assure everyone, it’s not going to be as hectic of a situation as it may seem.

Making the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies: A Deux
Earlier this week I told you how I was whipping up the best Chocolate Chip Cookies in the whole world to shower the showerers this weekend in Reading. Well the baking went well, and despite not putting them in heart shaped molds as planned, they still turned out quite tasty, according to the taste test team {which is solely MB}

Hold Tight!
In the interest of not losing my job in this terrifying economy, I’ll be finishing all my actual assignments and then posting all the wonderfulness to come. What you can look forward to is:
- Hearing why I think making my own centerpieces and other floral arrangements is a good idea.
- Seeing the end result of the best cc cookies EVA and meeting a new confection fave of mine!
- Hearing all about why MB is the best future da hubs in the whole wide universe {in a multiple part series}
You can also look forward to hearing all about how my {surprise!} shower in Reading goes next week…stay tuned!
The Centerpiece
Newsflash – I do not care about centerpieces. At all. I cared so little about them that I was almost 100% sure I wouldn’t have any until Jan assured me that there had to be SOME sort of centerpieces. I was originally going to make my family photos the center piece of the table, but both planners quickly nixed that idea. Still unsure of my craftyness, I was hesitant to volunteer myself to craft 10+ centerpieces. So, I did what I normally do when I hit a road block. I copy HCook.

if you don’t know who took these pictures, I pretty much hate you.
The Meaning of Wife
On strong suggestion from Anna, and a review of the partially finished book by my favorite Eco Bride Blogger, I ordered the Meaning of Wife and sat down for some long, drawn out sometimes terrifying reading.

It made me wonder, “Why in the HECK do I want to get married?!”
I Wish to Master the Art of French Cooking, Please
I read Vanity Fair. Ever since I saw someone else that I adore reading it, I decided that I too needed to graduate from my subscription to People into a non-vapid piece of reading material. More often than not, I forgot to take it out of the plastic and pass it right to Jan, but lately, I’ve loved their articles and I’m wildly indebted to them to opening my eyes to this:

Truly Planning Our StayCation
MB and I are really excited about our TinyMoon that’s going to happen the weekend after our wedding. What we’re NOT as excited about is returning to work for (possibly) the whole week until we depart for the Valley. To combat the doldrums of being at work, then, I’ve taken it upon myself to plan for us a fabulous StayCation, so we have some wonderful things to look forward to after work to do as a newly minted Wife + Husband.
